This carrot juice recipe has a bit of ginger in it to liven it up, and some grapefruit to sweeten it. I don't often post healthy vegan recipes that require expensive equipment, but since I had access to a juicer I wanted to show you how it works.
If you don't have a juicer for your healthy vegetable recipes, you can try this with a high speed blender. If you don't have a high speed blender, try this with a softer vegetable than carrots.
Prep time: 10 minutes

Hey guys, this is Heather from healthyveganrecipes.net. Today, I am going to show you how to make my carrot juice recipe. I just got back from my run and workout that is why my face is red. What I’m going to show you now is pretty exciting because I don’t own a juicer but we’re staying at Phil’s parents right now and he got her sister a juicer a few years ago so I’m going to make them some juice.
I will post this carrot juice recipe at healthyveganrecipes.net. We don’t need much for the recipe, just some vegetables and some fruit, and then throw it in the juicer. So let’s get started.
The driving force of this juice is these carrots that we bought. These juicing carrots, as you can see are a little bit rough-looking than you’re average eating carrots, then a got a broccoli stem, celery, some small ginger, and some grape fruit to help sweeten it up.
Basically, I’m just going to throw all this up into the juicer. I never actually did myself before and I did a little trial run. Things are going good so I’ll turn this on – so all the fruit and veggies give me a least some 600 milliliters of juice, which is very good.
That’s four carrots, four pieces of celery, broccoli and grape fruit. Now the real test is tasting it. Phil made some carrot juice once, and I’m not a fan, but it was just carrots. I’m hoping this will turn out with a little bit of sweetness – which is pretty good.
Well, I highly recommend trying this. Play around on different veggies or different fruits, whatever you like. It’s also awesome if you have juicer, but if don’t have one, you can play around with smoothies. But, a carrot in the blender is not that good, unless you have a high speed one.
Alright, like I said you can find this carrot juice recipe over at healthyveganrecipes.net along with other vegan recipes. If you’re more interested in some nutritional info, you can also head over to healthyeatingstartshere.com.
I’m going to go outside and enjoy my juice in the sunshine.
Turn on the juicer, and put the vegetables and grapefruit in, one at a time, pressing them down to the blades of the juicer. I hope you enjoy this carrot juice recipe, the latest of my healthy vegan recipes. What do you think? Let me know by leaving a comment below.
